CV (constant velocity) axle shafts transmit drive torque from the differential to the wheel hub while accommodating suspension travel and steering angle. Failed boots allow contaminants into the CV joint, causing rapid wear and eventual joint failure — symptoms that progress from clicking on full lock through to vibration under load and ultimately complete shaft failure. An All Balls replacement shaft resolves these issues with a new, fully assembled unit that includes new joints, new boots and correct grease fill.
