Voltmeters to Keep an Eye on Your Battery's Health

A plug-in or hardwired voltmeter gives you an early warning before your battery lets you down — a resting voltage that's steadily dropping over a few weeks usually means a battery that's on its way out, or a charging system issue worth chasing down before it strands you.

They're especially worth fitting if your bike sits unused for stretches between rides, since a battery in decline often shows no symptoms at all until the one morning it won't turn the engine over.

Pair a voltmeter with a battery charger for regular top-ups, and browse our batteries range if it's time for a replacement. Our gauges collection covers other monitoring instruments too.
