Product Information

The Motul C1 Chain Clean is a powerful degreaser designed to effectively clean all types of motorcycle chains, including standard, O-ring, X-ring, and Z-ring chains. It is suitable for both road and off-road motorcycles, as well as other vehicles like bicycles, mopeds, go-karts, and ATVs.

Application Instructions

  1. Preparation: Ensure the motorcycle is on a stable surface and the engine is off.

  2. Spraying: Shake the can well before use. Hold the can approximately 20 cm (8 inches) away from the chain and spray evenly.

  3. Cleaning: Allow the product to penetrate and dissolve the dirt. For heavily soiled chains, use a non-abrasive brush to assist in cleaning.

  4. Drying: Let the chain dry for about 5 minutes.

  5. Lubrication: After cleaning, apply a suitable chain lubricant to ensure optimal performance.
