Adventure and road pants lean towards all-day comfort and weather protection over off-road stiffness, often with a removable liner so one pair works across seasons rather than needing separate summer and winter gear.

Worth checking for CE-rated armour pockets at the hip and knee even if the pant doesn't come with armour included, since it's a lot easier to add protection later than buy a second pair once you've settled on a fit.
