Updated Body Armour, Knee Braces and Chest Protection for 2026

Protective gear is one area where it pays to buy this year's model rather than last year's leftover stock — padding compounds and impact-rated foams (like D3O and similar materials) keep improving, and a fresher protector generally means better impact absorption for the same amount of bulk.

What you need depends on how you ride. A chest protector is the baseline for most off-road and enduro riders, covering the ribs and sternum from roost and branch strikes. Knee guards and full neck braces are worth adding if you're riding technical trails or racing, since knee and neck injuries are among the most common serious injuries in off-road riding. Elbow guards round out the setup and are cheap insurance against a low-speed off.

Full body protector sets combine several of these into one piece, which is often more comfortable under a jersey than layering separate items. For the complete range beyond this year's new stock, browse our general motorbike protective gear collection.
